Dr. Kim L. Cronin

Cronin

Diplomate ACVIM (Oncology)

Kim L. Cronin graduated magna cum laude with a B. S. degree from the College of William and Mary in 1986. She received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the New York State College of Veterinary Medicine at Cornell University in 1990, and was inducted into Phi Zeta, the veterinary honor society. Upon graduation she did an internship at the Animal Medical Center in New York.

Dr. Cronin completed her oncology residency at North Carolina State University, College of Veterinary Medicine. In 1996, she received diplomate status in the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine (Oncology). She then served on staff at the University of Pennsylvania Veterinary Teaching Hospital from 1995-1998. Subsequently, she worked as a staff veterinarian at Angell Memorial Animal Hospital in Boston, Massachusetts from 1998 until she co-founded NEVOG in 2001.

Dr. Jeffrey C. Philibert

Diplomate ACVIM (Oncology)

Jeffrey C. Philibert received a Baccalaureate of Arts degree (Cum Laude) from Quinnipiac College in Hamden, Connecticut in 1991. He has received a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the University of Minnesota’s College of Veterinary Medicine in 1995. He also interned at the Veterinary Specialists of Rochester in Rochester, NY.

Dr. Philibert completed his oncology residency at Purdue University, School of Veterinary Medicine. He worked as a staff oncologist at Angell Memorial Animal Hospital in Boston, Massachusetts from 1999 until he co-founded NEVOG in 2001. Dr. Philibert received diplomate status in the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine (Oncology) in 2002.

Dr. Erin M. Romansik, DVM

Diplomate ACVIM (Oncology)

Erin M. Romansik graduated with Distinction from the Pennsylvania State University receiving a B.S. in Biology in 1996. He received his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Colorado State University in 2002 and was inducted into the veterinary honor society, Phi Zeta. Dr. Romansik completed a rotating internship at Tufts where he received the "Intern of the Year" award from 4th year veterinary students. He then finished a 1 year oncology internship in Tampa, Florida which included 6 months of radiation oncology training.

Dr. Romansik completed his medical oncology residency at the University of California, Davis in 2006. He received an award for "Best Resident Research Project" for his publication on canine mast cell tumors. Dr. Romansik received diplomate status in the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine (Oncology) in 2007. Most recently, Dr. Romansik was the staff oncologist at the Massachusetts Veterinary Referral Hospital in Woburn, MA.

Special interests for Dr. Romansik include small molecule targeted inhibitors currently being developed for various canine cancers including mast cell cancer. He thoroughly enjoys the outdoors and spending as much time as possible with his wife and young kids.

Dr. Sheri Siegel

Siegel

Diplomate ACVR (Radiation Oncology)

Sheri Siegel received her B. S. degree from the University of Georgia in 1984 and a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree (Summa Cum Laude) from Tuskegee University, School of Veterinary Medicine in 1989. She did an internship at Angell Memorial Animal Hospital in Boston, Massachusetts.

Dr. Siegel practiced general veterinary medicine for several years in southern California. She then trained in radiation oncology at North Carolina State University, College of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Siegel received diplomate status in the American College of Veterinary Radiology (Radiation Oncology) in 1995. In 1996, Sheri accepted a position to oversee the development of a radiation oncology program at Angell Memorial Animal Hospital. Dr. Siegel left Angell as a co-founder of the NEVOG in 2001.

Kari Rosen, DVM

Rosen

Kari Rosen received a B.S in animal science/pre-veterinary medicine from the University of Delaware in 2001. She received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Tufts University School of Veterinary Medicine in 2005. She completed a rotating internship in small animal medicine and surgery at Garden State Veterinary Specialists in 2007 in Tinton Falls, NJ. She has joined the NEVOG staff as a resident in radiation oncology and will be eligible for board certification in August 2009.

Michelle L. Silver, DVM

Silver

Michelle received her bachelor's degree in science (cum laude) from Salisbury University in 2000, and received her degree in veterinary medicine from Iowa State University in 2004. After graduating from veterinary school, she went on to complete a small animal rotating internship in small animal medicine and surgery at Regional Veterinary Referral Center in Springfield, VA from 2004-2005. After completing her rotating internship, she then went on to complete a radiation based oncology internship at Regional from 2005-2006. From there Michelle went on to work with Dr. Chand Khanna in Washington, DC for a year, gaining both knowledge in clinical trials and medical oncology. Michelle has since joined the NEVOG staff as their resident in medical oncology. She will be on staff until July 2010. At this time, she will be eligible for board certification in medical oncology.

Kerrin Corrieri

Director of Human Resources

Corrieri

Kerrin is a compassionate and energetic HR professional who has devoted her career to advocating for balance between the needs of employees and their employer. She believes wholeheartedly that employees who feel valued by their employer are motivated and engaged contributors. Kerrin joined NEVOG on a permanent basis in January 2008 after having experienced and invested in the culture during an 8-month contract term. Kerrin perpetuates NEVOG’s open and balanced culture through her support of open communication and employee empowerment.

Kerrin has nearly 15 years’ experience as an HR generalist in companies across a broad array of industries and size, focused on building teams and breaking down barriers. Kerrin holds a BS and earned an MS in Human Resources Management from Emmanuel College and is an active member of the Society for Human Resources Management. Kerrin enjoys spending time with her family and watching the NewEngland sports teams excel!

Teammates within NEVOG work collaboratively priding themselves on strong communication, efficiency and client/patient focus. Additionally, a number of our employees have fulfilled certification requirements and are recognized as Certified Veterinary Technicians (CVT) or Licensed Veterinary Technicians (LVT).
