Veterinary Technician, Radiation Therapy
As a hands-on teammate involved in all aspects of the effective running of the department (once trained), the successful candidate will possess 2+ years experience in a veterinary setting, preferably in specialty practice, and possess strong anesthesia know-how and expertise; all with a positive and a can-do attitude.
ResponsibilitiesIn this hands-on role, the successful team member will be responsible for performing radiation treatments, x-rays, CT scans, client communications/interactions, scheduling appointments, blood draws, catheter placement, administering and monitoring anesthesia among other duties. This is a full time position, 35-40 hours per week. No weekends.
Qualifications2+ years experience in a veterinary medicine setting as a technician/nurse; specialty experience highly attractive;
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
Proven ability to multi-task in a fast paced and changing environment;
High level anesthesia expertise;
Evident adoration of pets and fondness of client relations/interactions;
CVT a plus.
